In Nadico we have carried out the Project, Construction Management and Project Management of a multi-tenant industrial building.
During the construction works, the conversion of the buillding to a single tenant typology was required for the implementation of an activity dedicated to producing raw materials for the industry of aromas and food additives. This building includes a production plant, a raw material and finished product storage area, laboratory and general services.
As a project improvement, Nadico carried out a fire simulation of the warehouse, studying the area with a high level of fire risk, to be able to identify the behaviour of the building in case of fire. Based on this study, an Exceptionality Report was prepared to justify the following fire safety measures:
- The extension of the build area of the fire sector.
- Increase in maximum evacuation routes.
- Optimization of installation requirements (fire exhausts, smoke screens, sprinklers, …).
