“The choice of Nadico as a partner has been key to the success of the Trace-Fluidra project”
Oriol Bartol, General Manager de Trace Logistics/Fluidra
Nadico has designed the logistics warehouse of this multinational company, located in Sant Feliu de Buixalleu (Girona), implementing a permitting strategy aimed at streamlining and aligning timelines between construction execution and administrative procedures, within the framework of a project subject to stringent major accident regulations.
Barcelona, March 24, 2026.– Fluidra is a multinational company present in 50 countries, with 36 production facilities, dedicated to delivering innovative and connected solutions for pools and wellness. In its ongoing pursuit of excellence, the company required a new logistics warehouse to centralise distribution across Southern Europe. Fully aware that safety is a non-negotiable aspect of its operations, Fluidra entrusted Nadico with managing the activity licences for its new facility, located in Sant Feliu de Buixalleu (Girona).
According to Noelia Cuadros, Head of EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) at Nadico, “The main challenge of the project was to define, in coordination with the local authorities, a design and permitting strategy that would streamline processes as much as possible and bridge the gap between the design and construction phases and the administrative procedures, for a building subject to major accident regulations.”
For his part, Oriol Bartol, General Manager of Trace Logistics, Fluidra’s logistics division, states that “The technical expertise and management capabilities of Nadico’s team have been instrumental in meeting the project deadlines. Their contribution has been particularly significant in securing permits and licences, demonstrating a strong command of fire protection regulations, chemical storage requirements and major accident legislation.”
He also emphasises the importance of rigorous and efficient project management, which has provided technical assurance. “This has represented significant added value, and choosing Nadico as a partner has been key to the project’s success.”
