Covering an area of 5,800 m², this unique building, designed for logistics operations, blends aesthetics, functionality, environmental care, and safety.
Parets del Vallès, October 1, 2024 – Engineering firm Nadico has announced the delivery of a new logistics building project, this time for Keeway Motor, a company present in 73 countries and with which it shares values of innovation and excellence.
Spanning 5,800 m² across ground and upper floors, this distinctive office and logistics facility is located just 25 minutes from the city of Barcelona and about 50 km from El Prat Airport.
The building stands out for its organic shape. Its rounded volumes add dynamism and create interesting shadow play on the façade, while also enabling large curved-edge glass windows that maximize natural light. The lattice cladding with wood-effect lacquered aluminum slats gives the building warmth and harmony with its surroundings. Its warm nighttime lighting enhances its shape in context, while maintaining key technical standards, such as avoiding glare. All this turns the building into the perfect showcase for the brand.
Regarding the ventilation, lighting, HVAC, and sanitary water systems, Nadico prioritized occupant comfort while also optimizing performance and minimizing the carbon footprint. In addition, they made use of the site’s orientation to install a 250 kW photovoltaic system on the roof.
Beyond technical, aesthetic, and functional aspects, Nadico has also focused on people’s safety and worked to exceed the requirements of Spain’s Fire Safety Regulations for Industrial Establishments and the Technical Building Code (CTE).
